Day 1 Letter challenge:

Since I don’t have just one best friend, this is a letter to all my best friends.

Dear best friends,

Thank you for always being there for me, we have had many great memories together and we have plenty of pictures and videos to show for it, some funny and some quite cringey ones ahah… well I wanted to say thank you for everything you have ever done for me, you’ve helped me become a good person and have led me in the right direction, you are all such lovely and supportive friends and I will always be best friends with you, no matter what happens.

I know I haven’t been the best friend that you probably would have wished for but I respect you for staying by my side and never giving up on me, I know I have shocked and worried you on a few occasions and I’m truly very sorry, I wish I could have changed things and been a more sensible and better person, but I guess no ones perfect hey?! Thank you for accepting me and making me feel a lot better about myself when I’m feeling low, I know you are all there for me when I need you and I can always talk to you about anything. I appreciate all the things you wrote in my cards on my birthday, the messages were so sweet and when you all went home that night after my party I cried for a while, I was just overwhelmed at the love and happiness I received from you. And at that moment in time I really needed that! It’s only ever with you guys I feel I can really be myself, I’m not afraid to have fun and to be a bit crazy with you guys, I never feel like I have to put on an act or be someone who I’m not because you’re such lovely friends and we all accept each other for who we are.

I know in the future you will all do very well with your lives as you are all very bright and pleasant people, I’m sure you will become successful in whatever you choose to do and even if we do move far away from each other, I guarantee that we will miss each other but always keep in contact. Friends like you aren’t worth losing! I couldn’t EVER wish for better friends, you have made my childhood/teenage years the best and I have had such fun being with you all, I look forward to another couple of years with you before we all go to uni etc. Thank you again, I love you xox
